At BYD, our aim is to deliver exceptional customer service to you and your BYD New Energy vehicle.
Warranty Policy
- A comprehensive warranty policy is in place for your BYD New Energy vehicle.
The BYD vehicle warranty policy applies to New Energy vehicles manufactured by BYD Automotive Company Limited.
The warranty period of the complete vehicle is 6 years or 150,000 km whichever comes first.
The warranty period of the Power Battery is 8 years or 150,000km whichever comes first.
The warranty period of the Drive Unit is 8 years or 150,000km whichever comes first.
The warranty period is calculated from the date when the vehicle purchase invoice is issued by a BYD authorised seller and expires at the specified date or kilometrage, whichever comes first.
BYD Owner's Manual
- The BYD Owner's Manual provides guidance on how to correctly use your BYD New Energy vehicle, how to keep it well maintained, and repaired properly
in accordance with the BYD Owner's Manual.
Spare parts
- In order to ensure that your BYD New Energy vehicle is in the best condition, the highest safety standards and prolong its service life after repair and maintenance, it is recommended to use BYD genuine spare parts.
BYD recommends that you select BYD genuine spare parts and use, maintain, and repair your BYD New Energy vehicle in accordance with the BYD Owner’s Manual. The use of non-genuine spare parts to replace or modify the vehicle will affect the performance of the entire vehicle, especially its safety and durability.
Vehicle damage and performance issues caused by use of non-genuine spare parts will not be covered by the warranty. In addition, modifications to vehicles may also violate government regulations.
